Treo 650 Sound Level

Palm OS

I am using my earphone with the programs - how do I reduce the volume (it is too loud)?

volume

Paul,

In the current version, you have to use your phone's hardware button to adjust the volume.

That doesn't seem to work on my Treo 650

I tried to use the hardware buttons on the side and it doesn't seem to work for my Treo 650. Regardless of the sound level that I set it to (and confirm) using the buttons on the side of my Treo 650, the sound is still the same. I tried it using China2Go, Cantonese2Go, Korean2Go, and Japanese2Go and the hardware buttons on the side of my Treo 650 (for the Ringer Volume) doesn't appear to affect the Phrasebook volumes.

cannot adjust sound level

Sorry, we have confirmed this is a bug in the application. We will investigate into this issue and release a patch when it's fixed. We will let you know when the patch is available.

Volume fix?

Hi,

Any further news on the volume issue?

Volume fix?

Yes, the volume is fixed on Treo 650 in the current version.

Same problem... they appear to be the same programs

I just tried the current version of the Asian Pack. First thing is that the version numbers appear to be the same as what I already had on my Treo 650. I thought that maybe you didn't upgrade the version number so I uninstalled the versions on my Treo 650 and reinstalled each component of the Asian Pack and the sound level is still the same for all the components (Japan2Go, Korea2Go, China2Go, & Cantonese2Go). The volume controls on the side of the Treo 650 does not have any effect with these programs.

Can you verify it again on your Treo 650?

volume issue

We haven't released an update which addresses the volume issue yet. We are currently working on that.

That's not what you wrote... ;-)

Thanks for letting me know. However, that's not what you wrote on Sunday October 1, 2006 (see above).

Sorry, in Oct. 1 post, I am saying "fixed" which means "cannot change". Sorry for the confusing.

Our latest build has the functionality to adjust the voice volume through menu Tools->Volume Up/Down.
