Cannot find voice database

I installed a trial version of Italy2Go on my Treo 650. It worked fine, except of course, there was no voice. I purchased and registered the program. Now, when I try to start it, I get the message, "Resource Error: Cannot find the voice database, the program couldn't play the sound!". I don't have enough free RAM to install the voice module in memory (I currently have 4374K free), so I installed it on my SD card (under PALM/Launcher) as the installation instructions indicated. What do I need to do to get this to work.

Also, I've looked for words with associated tips, but have not found any? Is this feature enabled? If so, can you please give me an example of a word that has an associated tip? Thank you.

Cannot find voice database

In our installation manual, we mentioned that your device must have at least 5MB of free RAM memory space to launch the application. Because before Palm launches the application, it will copy the .prc and .pdb files to your RAM first. Pleast try to free a little more RAM on your device.
Also, please be aware that our software does not work with ZLauncher.

That's Not It

I get the same error and I have 7.1 MB free.

I don't think this runs on a Treo 650...

I followed your suggestion

I followed your suggestion and freed up some space in RAM. Now with 6094K free, I still get the same error (even after a soft reboot). Also, I do not use ZLauncher. I am launching this via the normal Treo tap-an-icon launch.

treo 650 install

Treo 650 is definitely compatible and actually majority of our users are using Treo 650...

Did you install the voice_ch.pdb file onto your deivce during your installation? Would you please also check the size of China2Go application your device by selecting 'info' menu item?
