China2 Go - No Sound Treo 700p

I have a Treo 700p running Palm OS 5.4.9. I downloaded the trial version of China2Go/Mandarin and I'm not getting any sound. Have read the reviews and would love to purchase the software, but will not do so until I'm sure it will work on my 700p!

FYI, I can open the app and navigate everywhere, I'm just not getting any sound! (I realize that sound in the trial version only works in Basic.)

Have installed, deleted, re-installed and that did not help. If it helps you troubleshoot the problem, the China2Go app is taking up 3284K.

HELP! Leaving for Beijing tomorrow!

Did you turn on system sound? The application uses system sound level setting.

You can find the system volume setting in Prefs->Sound & Alerts->Application (General)->System Volume. The System Volume must be a number bigger than 0.
