what are the little icons in the lower right hand corner?

Simplified to Traditional, etc.?

My Chinese Phase book did not come with a manual...

I hope the English-Chinese dictionary for Palm OS will release soon...

what are the little icons in the lower right hand corner?

There're four little icons in the lower right corner. They are: 1) Add to Favorite/Remove from Favorite, 2) related phrases, 3) culture tips, 4) Simplified/Traditional Chinese.

The manual is available in the product when select menu item Options->Help.
