Understanding English-Chinese Dictionary posting

Windows Mobile Pocket PC

First, I want to say thank you for the fine customer service and quick response in replying to my email about purchasing your software. I do believe it will be helpful. Unfortunately there isn't much help information in the help section. I have pasted an example here for celery. I do not understand what the different translations/voice means for this listing. I gather the first one is saying it is a noun and shows the word in chinese. Then I am somewhat confused for the other listings that follow. Is there some directions/information that I am failing to read to understand what the various listings that follow the noun or verb? Please forgive my lack of knowledge/understanding regarding this. I am new at this.

celery
['selǝri]

n. 芹(q^n)菜(c3i);【医(y%)】 芹(q^n)菜(c3i), 糖(t1ng)蒿(h`o)

translation

You are correct that the first section in the translation shows that it is a noun, followed by its Chinese translation and voice. In most cases, that is probably all you need. If you are in a restaurant and you need to say "celery", then that first part "芹菜" is the word you need and you can learn the pronunciation with our dictionary.

In the dictionary you will sometimes see a Chinese word enclosed by a bold brackets, such as 【医】, followed by more translations and voices. These are special terminologies for a certain discipline/category. For example 【医】 means it is a medical term.
