Installation on BlackBerry

I have downloaded a free trial version of EN_CN_Dictionary.ipd. I tried to load it on my blackberry, at the last steps: 6.3 Click the "Restore" button. 6.4 Select a data file (e.g. EN_CN_Dictionary.ipd) from where you extracted the installation package in step1.

I got a message saying cannot restore read only file.

read only problem

Please make sure the program is running on your BlackBerry when you
install the ipd data file. (do not exit the program).

Please let us know if you still have problems.

Yes, the program was running. I re-tried. When I restore, it shows a
little dialogue window saying: The operation you have selected will
remove all of the entries on the device from the following databases and
replace them with the corresponding entries in current file. Do you wish
to proceed?

I select yes. Then after about 2 min, it said: Cannot restore the
following databases: Mdict.

If you go back to the device and select refresh, do you see a dictionary
already listed there?

What is your BlackBerry model?

Model 8800. I selected refresh, I didn't see a dictionary.

need to reinstall

Can you please un-install the dictionary completely and start over
again? There could be some corruption due to the link error.
