Installation error with Blackberry 8820

BlackBerry

We had the Italian phrasebook successfully installed on a Blackberry 8700c and then got a new 8820. I tried to install the .alx through desktop manager, but when you click "add" it says there are no programs designed for your device. I thought it said that the new 8820 was supported. Any idea why it won't install or is there another way to install?

BlackBerry desktop software

Can you please check your BlackBerry Desktop Software version? If it is not the latest, please completely uninstall it, and install the latest version from BlackBerry (currently the latest version is 4.2.2.14).

Also, who is your carrier?

Blackberry install error

Our carrier is AT&T. My version of the desktop software is 4.2.2.12. Do you still think the version could be a problem, even though the software installed with this version on a blackberry 8700c?

faq

Please check our faq at http://www.hnhsoft.com/faq, you will see that there are basically 3 possibilities. Yours is most likely either 1 or 2. If you still have the problem after updating your desktop software please let us know.

Neither worked...

I completely unistalled the desktop software and installed the newest version and tried to load the application and it still didn't work. Also, it is not already loaded on the handheld. Is there anything else i can try?
