Chinese character display on P1i inconsistent

I've downloaded a trial version (3.0) of the product to my P1i. It looks really good but when I paste hanzi from quickoffice into hnhsoft I only get an empty square. I translates OK and shows the Hanzi OK but when I go back to the ordered list of Hanzi everything is blank boxes. I see the characters fine in quickoffice.

Please advise as I would like to buy this product and use it.

blank boxes

does the blank box problem occur only after you copy and paste, or is it always there? can you please take a digital picture of the screen and email to support@HNHSoft.com?
