The voice functionality does not work for the applications I installed on my device.

no voice

First please make sure the voice is turned on for you device and you can hear the voice for other applications installed on your device. If this is configured correctly, please try to adjust the 'Interaction Permissions' for the phrasebook application from 'custom' to 'allow'.
Following is the detailed instruction:
1. On your Blackberry check in "options"-->"Advanced options".
2. highlight "Blackberry Core Applications", click it once, then choose Modules.
3. find the module for English-Chinese dictionary and click it, then choose "edit permissions".
4. you will see "Connections", "Interactions", and "User data". go to "Interactions", and change the settings.
