Spanish2Go install problems

BlackBerry

I have a Blackberry 8830 World Phone. Purchased Spanish2go software. downloaded to the phone and to my PC. went through the steps to download the .ipd data file by using the desktop blackberry manager. I have a 2Gb micro sd card installed. When prompted to use mass media storage i select yes and proceed with what i believe is the downloading of the data file. I run the spanish2go application in the background as required. When prompted i select the "refresh" option but no data transfers to the phone memory card.

Need help.

Installing to SD card

Please select "No" when asked if you want to turn on mass storage mode. This allows the installation to utilize the storage card.

Spanish2Go install problems

I did as suggested and an icon stating: "Spain2Go is now on the installation screen; i hit the menu button and select to access the program and the follow error message is displayed: "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException" with an "OK" button. push the button and the error message goes away but the application as expected does not run.

What now?

The installation was somehow corrupted. Please 1.uninstall the phrasebook program
2.re-install program & ipd data (select NO when being asked "mass storage mode")

If the file is again corrupted, please start the media player program (comes with your BlackBerry), from the menu select Explore -> Media Card, then go to hnhPB, do you see a directory called "c7051d2b"? If so, please press the menu key (BlackBerry key), and select "Properties", and let us know what is displayed. Thanks.

Spain2Go Install Problems

I uninstalled the phrasebook program. I then reinstalled the program and then the ipd data to the media card. Upon attempting to run the application i received the same error message before. I then opened the media player, selected explore, media card, found the hnhPB file and opened it and found the c7051d2b directory. I then selected Properties and found the following:

/Media Card/hnhPB/c7051d2b/

Size: 5.4MB
Folder

Let me know what to do next.

Are you done investigating the problem. I have not been able to utilize the software.

latest version

Sorry for the delay. In 2-3 weeks we will release an update version. But for now we strongly recommend you to un-install the program, restart the device and try to install again. Please make sure you install the latest version v3.1.8.
