Uprgrade from Palm 650 to Centro
Submitted by Andrea Klanderman on Thu, 2008-07-10 00:46. Palm OSI had Italy2Go successfully working on my Treo 650. I have now upgraded to a Palm Centro, on which I have successfully loaded Germany2Go, and it works fine. But up to now am unable to get full use of Italy2Go, which I backed up/renamed/resynched from Treo 650 backup files onto the Palm Centro. My License key code SEEMED to satisfy the Palm Centro, but the audio is very choppy - it sounds like I have an improper bit rate.
Is there a simple solution to this, or must a plead for a new download of the Italy2Go that is compatible with the Centro.
Is Palm Centro supported?
Submitted by csiu on Wed, 2008-04-02 12:08. Palm OSI installed a trial version to my Centro. I got a msg "Device is not supported." and the application exited itself.
Will any of the dictionaries be supported on Centro any time soon?
French characters
Submitted by michelled on Fri, 2008-01-04 13:34. Palm OSI have just bought France2Go for my Palm TX. Works ok, but it isn't displaying special characters. I thought I saw something about this somewhere, but now can't find it. What else do I need to display these please? Example - Oeuf is displayed as Suf.
Thanks.
Alternate voice
Submitted by howc on Mon, 2007-07-23 10:33. Palm OSIs there an option for a male voice in the audio playback? Even a half speed playback option would help by lowering the voice an octave. I am using the Italy2Go module.
Thanks
Italian2go - help - where is search - what do icons mean
Submitted by Chris Dart on Wed, 2007-06-06 06:52. Palm OSI have just downloaded and installed Italian2go on a palm T|X.
I understand that I will only get voice from the basic list (that works) until I buy it but there is a lot else missing. I cannot find a decent help file and because of this I do not see how to make the search work nor selecting from a list and I do not know what the icons mean. I have found by trial and error that the first icon is 'favourites' and the second icon is 'related' but the third icon does nothing.
The help on the pda says 'Compose your phrase by selecting from a list' - how?
'Search a phrase by keyword(s)' and 'Select search from the tools menu' - I don't see a search button on the tools menu (unless that is the third one which does nothing). The palm's own search button is not active within the programme.
The icons are tiny and I cannot see what they are meant to represent. The middle one is sort of recirculating but the other 2 convey nothing.
Is there a proper help file which I have missed? The one on the pda wastes space telling you what a super programme it is (as it is loaded on the pda the user will have got past that already) but says only a very little on how to use it!!!!!
