I have a Blackberry 8830 World Phone. Purchased Spanish2go software. downloaded to the phone and to my PC. went through the steps to download the .ipd data file by using the desktop blackberry manager. I have a 2Gb micro sd card installed. When prompted to use mass media storage i select yes and proceed with what i believe is the downloading of the data file. I run the spanish2go application in the background as required. When prompted i select the "refresh" option but no data transfers to the phone memory card.

Need help.

i am a mac user and need some help installing the chinese-english dictionary on my blackberry 8830. i have tried to install OTA many times and keep getting the "com.hnhsoft.mdict.sync.applicationexception:connection timed out (app)" message everytime i try it. i have a data plan with verizon that should accomodate this type of ota installation. i have tried to use pocketmac to install and have not had any success with that method either. please help i really need this dictionary tool for my trip to china in two weeks.

I sent a request to support@support.hnhsoft.com on June 23rd. and have not had a response. It seems that I need to use this forum for resolution. Listed below is a cut/paste from that request.

- I have a Blackberry Curve, system rev. 4.3
- In the Dictionary, running Study, there is no audio
- I have changed my settings, security, Interactions=allow
- it will change words, screens, but will not "speak" any audio

- if there is no easy fix for this issue, can I transfer my software to my company World Edition Blackberry ? This would be acceptable to me.

I want to install the demo versions of HNH Soft Talking Phrase Book version 3.1.7 and Larousse English-German Dictionary for BlackBerry. But it was not successful.

The installation of the program via Desktop Manager was ok, but in ether case it was not possible to transfer the data files to my Black Berry. After point 6.5 respectively 7.5 of your installation guides the program want to delete the Phrase Book. When I accept this, the program didn't work on. Nothing happens! It was necessary to cancel the desktop Manager (with the task manager).

I tried it several times. And I don't forget to start the program HNH Soft Phrase Book on my Black Berry.

Where am I going wrong? Thank you for support.

My mobile:
- Black Berry pearl 8100
- V4.2.194
- Extension storage card with more then 1.5 GB free space
- mass storage mode was OFF during installation

The voice functionality does not work for the applications I installed on my device.

After installing without a problem when I run the application I get the following error:

Error starting Phrasebook: Class 'javax.microedition.media.Player' not found.

Any suggestions?

Does the HNH Software for Chinese allow translation from Pinyin to Chinese Characters for use with Text Messaging? I need to be able to write in pinyin and have a format to translate pinyin into Chinese characters for text purposes.

My IT Manager & I spent 3 hours trying to stall the software to no avail.

I have a BB 8310. We tried to modify the device.xml and everything else but nothing worked.

I would buy the software on the spot if anybody can help me with the installation.
